General Surgery in White Rock & South Surrey

About Dr. Gentles

Born and raised in Fort St. John, British Columbia, Dr. Gentles completed his bachelors in honours microbiology and immunology at the University of British Columbia (UBC) including an exchange program in biomedical science at the University of Glasgow, Scotland.

Afterwards he completed both medical school and surgical residency also at UBC. He has undertaken additional training in endoscopic procedures and oncoplastic breast surgery, and has brought new minimally invasive techniques to Peace Arch Hospital, without loosing his small town touch.

Beyond the operating theatre Dr. Gentles enjoys cooking for friends and family, as well as spending time on the ocean. He is a proud Canadian, father of two, husband, and director on the board of our local White Rock South Surrey Division of Family Practice.
